Meet Your Coach

Hi!  I’m Virginia, and I’ve been running for over 15+ years.  I began running with my high school cross country team and never looked back!  I have raced every distance from the 5k to the Marathon, and even completed my first ultra marathon in the spring of 2018.10847196_10101104078584674_9018595400039466253_o

My educational background is in Exercise Science and Physical Therapy.  I have been treating, and still treat today, as a PT for over seven years.  I am also an RRCA certified running coach since 2016.

My approach to coaching is multi-factorial. I believe in steady progression of load and volume to avoid development of injuries.  I also am a strong believer in the importance of strength training; thus you can expect to spend time performing common strength exercises when working with me.  Finally, I offer guidance on nutrition for runners and can provide meal/snack suggestions to help make sure you are getting appropriate nutrients necessary for successful training.

Running is my passion, and I want to share that with you. Let me help you reach that running goal and keep you coming back for more!
